Dr. C. D. Panda is a pioneer in the field of Engineering Education and
Technical learning. He has established a number of leading institutions
of Engineering spanning the length and breadth of Odisha and even
outside Odisha. He started with his foray into the setting up an
Engineering institute at Gunupur, in 1997.
He is reckoned with a sense of pride as an astute organizer, an astute
dedicated social worker, a dynamic visionary with a commitment to the
cause of the common man. He has marched ahead in establishing a range
of institutes in Engineering, polytechnic, dentistry etc. being a professor in
economics with M.Phil and Ph.D. to his credit, his sense of planning
and execution being nothing less than perfect.
