DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING
The Department of Civil Engineering is dedicated to imparting quality technical education and developing
skilled professionals in the field of infrastructure and construction. The department follows a curriculum designed to
meet academic and industry standards.
The department offers strong foundational and practical knowledge in structural, geotechnical, environmental,
transportation, and water resources engineering. It is supported by well-equipped laboratories including the
Structural Engineering Lab, Geotechnical Engineering Lab, Environmental Engineering Lab, Transportation
Engineering Lab, and Fluid Mechanics Lab, providing hands-on training and experimental learning.
With experienced faculty, modern facilities, and regular technical activities such as seminars and industrial visits,
the department focuses on academic excellence, research orientation, and sustainable development. It strives to
produce competent, ethical, and industry-ready civil engineers capable of contributing to society and nation-building.

To produce eminent, competitive and dedicated civil Engineers by imparting latest technical skills and ethical values
to empower the students to play a key role in the planning and execution of infra structural & developmental activities of the nation.
