About GIACR


Gandhi Institute of Advanced Computer & Research (GIACR) formerly "IACR" was established in the year 1999 by Rabindranath Educational Trust. Initially, the MCA course was introduced in 1999. In 2001 the B. Tech. Degree Course was introduced with three branches namely Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT) and Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE). In 2002 Mechanical Engineering, in 2003 Civil Engineering, in 2006 MBA, in 2014 Diploma (Civil, Mechanical) courses were further introduced. We are proud to declare that we have the full fledged departments of CSE, EEE, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and MBA.

GIACR is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha for B.Tech & MBA courses and affiliated to SCTE&VT, Odisha for imparting Diploma courses.
